History
TPR's direct ancestor is Gentaro Tanaka Shoten Co., Ltd., set up in 1908 by Gentaro Tanaka. Starting with the sale of lubricating oil and lubricating materials, as the criticality of the engine increased, the focus was on improving the performance of its "heart", the Piston Rings.
